The Symfo City ProgPages and ProgRadio is a web-depository of all kind of information about Symphonic and Progressive Rock and of our weekly ProgRock shows on a Dutch local radio station. Our goal is to promote this kind of music in a broad sense.

SymfoCity ProgPoll 2009: TOP15

Every year we ask our listeners to send their favourite TOP15 of Symphonic and Progressive Rock albums. After counting all the votes, the SymfoCity TOP15 has been assembled.

Unfortunately we had no broadcast on Radio Voorst, Deventer Radio and the internet on January 18th. We are very sorry, but Deventer overruled us for a special program about an important football match of their local heroes, and Radio Voorst encountered technical problems. To compensate for this we changed the schedule for the TOP15 specials:

25-Jan-2010: TOP15 Positions 15 to 10
01-Feb-2010: TOP15 Positions 9 to 5
08-Feb-2010: TOP15 Positions 4 to 2, and the winner !

For the live broadcasts on Radio Apeldoorn we keep the original schedule (11, 18 & 25 January).

New SymfoCity logo

A new year, a new face: New logo

Laurens, the son of our SymfoCity Team member Wim Verweij has designed a new SymfoCity logo for us based on our specifications.

Many visitors of our website used the internet service "welcome.to" as a gateway to our website. Unfortunately the provider of this service installed very annoying pop-ups for advertisement. We found the best solution by creating our own domain:

Interview SymfoCity Team in iO-pages

In the summer of 2004 Antonie Deelen visited us for an interview for the well known Dutch magazine "iO-pages". They would like to put people in the spotlights who promote Symphonic and Progressive Rock actively. In the July 2004 issue, two pages are dedicated to our radio program.
